The 9th edition of the Tullio Serafin International Singing Competition brought together promising young opera singers from around the world, offering them the opportunity to perform before an esteemed international jury and an enthusiastic audience. Among this year’s distinguished participants was Romanian-Hungarian baritone Eduard Ferenczi Gurban, who was awarded the Audience Prize, a distinction that reflects the strong connection he established with listeners throughout the competition.

Named after the legendary Italian conductor Tullio Serafin, the competition has become an important platform for emerging artists, helping launch and support the careers of young singers on the international opera stage.
